Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Missouri is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver parts to customers and pick up parts from suppliers for the dealership. You will ensure accurate deliveries, assist with orders, and support warehouse tasks to keep parts flowing to shop technicians and retail accounts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of three months in customer and delivery services, and a valid driver license with insurability as per company policy. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Coordinate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries; verify pickups.
• Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
• Verify invoices match purchase orders for each delivery.
• Match received payments with invoices for each delivery.
• Maintain daily delivery/pick-up logs and obtain signatures.
• Unload truck nightly and hand in paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Assist in stocking and posting orders to speed delivery to shops.
• Support warehouse operations as needed by leadership.

The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering parts to customers and for picking up parts from suppliers for the dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and delivers parts to customer, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
• Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Assist in warehouse as requested by leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three months’ experience customer and delivery services.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
