Job summary

Bertera Auto Group in Palmer, MA is seeking an Auto Parts Delivery Driver to transport parts to customers and the dealership, operating company vehicles within speed limits and safety procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions, basic mechanical skills, and strong communication and customer service abilities.

Job description

The Auto Parts Delivery Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area. He or she transports products from local parts sources and delivers them to our customers. Most importantly and without exception, the Delivery Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and must have basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Strong communication and customer service skills required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Previous experience preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
