Job summary

Friendly Powersports is seeking a dependable Parts Department Associate in Baton Rouge, LA to help customers and technicians locate, order, receive, and organize parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports vehicles.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate pricing, inventory management, and teamwork with service and sales. Prior parts or powersports experience is preferred; Saturday work and dealership hours are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, automotive, motorcycle, or powersports preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and dealership software.
• Able to lift and move parts and merchandise as needed.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and dealership hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and by phone with parts and accessory needs
• Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information
• Order, receive, label, stock, and organize inventory
• Pull parts for service technicians and customer orders
• Process parts sales, returns, special orders, and warranty-related items
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep the parts counter, warehouse, and display areas clean and organized
• Notify customers when special-order parts arrive
• Work closely with the service and sales departments
• Help maintain a positive and professional customer experience

Friendly Powersports is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Parts Department Associate to join our Baton Rouge team. This position assists customers and technicians with locating, ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports vehicles.
