O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner. The role also collects COD payments and handles customer returns.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily inspections before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer issues to store management; report vehicle issues promptly.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy; perform other duties including stocking and merchandising as needed.
• May assist customers as a cashier or with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
