Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. You will collect COD deliveries, handle returns, and keep vehicles and equipment secure throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company 14/18-point standard.
• Must possess a legally required state driver\'s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet hand-held devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and conduct daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and cash at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete required slips for returns.
• Communicate any problems to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers, act as cashier, and help with merchandising as needed.
