Job summary

Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to transport parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors. You will unload and pickup items, verify invoices, and coordinate with the Dispatcher, Parts Manager, and Parts Counter staff.

This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will be responsible for completing delivery logs, obtaining signatures, and helping

Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Basic computer skills and calculator use required.
Good oral and written communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically able to handle deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors to coordinate with the Dispatcher, Parts Manager and Parts Counter people before leaving.
Check invoices against purchase orders for each pickup and verify payments with invoices for each delivery.
Perform basic truck maintenance (fuel, oil, cleanliness, inspections) as needed.
Complete a delivery log and obtain recipient signatures; unload truck nightly and return paperwork and undelivered parts.
Maintain professional appearance of the parts department and perform other assigned tasks.
