Job summary

Milnes Ford, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Parts Delivery Person to transport parts to local customers, support parts sales, and assist with stock inventory. The role emphasizes timely deliveries and friendly, professional service within a retail/auto dealership setting.

You will work closely with the parts team to locate parts not in stock, process special orders, and communicate clearly with staff and customers while adhering to safety policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of automobiles.
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with auto parts sales (preferred).
• Positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Timely and professional parts delivery
• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Complete special order part request for the customer
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
