Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. The role includes COD payments, returns processing, and supporting store operations with customer service and merchandising.

Candidates with bilingual Spanish skills are encouraged to apply. A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required, with safety and efficiency emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Desired: Familiar with automotive parts.
• Desired: Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained, and complete daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist with customer service, cashier duties, merchandising, and other duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
