Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, delivering parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role also collects money on COD deliveries and processes customer returns, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will drive, inspect, and secure vehicles, use handheld devices to process deliveries, and coordinate with store management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the 14/18-point standard.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using hand-held devices, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained, and ensure security of vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and funds.
• Handle customer returns and assist with making COD deliveries.
• Communicate issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers as needed, including cashiering and merchandising duties.
