Job summary

Parts Authority is seeking a Part Time Delivery Driver to pick up and drop off automotive parts, following routes and schedules with a strong focus on customer service. You will load and unload items, verify orders, and maintain a safe driving record, while meeting insurance requirements and supporting warehouse duties.

This role emphasizes reliability, courteous communication, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities to contribute to a growing, nationwide parts network.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit balances.
• Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization and signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with potential overtime.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to routes, and manage time schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading items without disrupting operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle questions or concerns professionally.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments and prepare reports related to deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Assist with other store/warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain workplace safety and secure cash or assets.
