Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Wholesale Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership, ensuring the delivery truck remains clean and operable. You will load the truck to prevent damage to sheet metal and fragile parts, organize routes, and update the delivery log after each stop.

In this role you will report malfunctions to the Parts Manager, assist in keeping the parts area clean, and support sales calls as directed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver & pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck to prevent damage to sheet metal and fragile parts.
• Organize delivery schedule and post for contact.
• Keep truck clean and in good running condition.
• Report malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately.
• Assist in keeping parts department & parts area clean.
• Make pickups and deliveries safely and call shipping from each stop.
• Pick up only PO’d parts; update delivery log after each delivery.
• Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
