Job summary

GPC Genuine Parts Company in Idaho seeks a delivery driver to serve NAPA customers in Coeur d'Alene. Deliver parts from the DC to stores on a scheduled and as-needed basis, while maintaining a delivery log and ensuring vehicle security.

Role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also keep a neat appearance and complete training as required by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Establish and maintain good relations with customers with courteous, efficient service.
• Recognize part numbers and line codes quickly for proper delivery.
• Well groomed appearance and adherence to conduct policies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a professional setting.
• Enjoy fast-paced environments and remain calm under pressure.
• Know service area and operate a manual transmission vehicle if needed.
• Ability to work assigned hours by management.
• Able to move heavy items with moving aids (hand trucks, dollies, lifts).
• Able to reach high shelves and bend/stoop as needed.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift and listen clearly.
• Able to distinguish letters/numbers and remember sequences.

Responsibilities

• Delivers parts from DC to store on regularly-scheduled and as-needed basis.
• Maintains delivery log and tracking system.
• Ensures security of company assets, vehicles, and merchandise.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by providing timely delivery, friendly service, and addressing any issues regarding product delivery.
• Maintains personal and vehicle appearance.
• Schedules and completes required training as needed.
• Job holder is responsible for performing any other duties as assigned by management.
