Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring for a delivery driver. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns and cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

You’ll maintain store cleanliness, manage stocking, and engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services. You will also build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, and stay knowledgeable about inventory and new arrivals to support

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts; build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock floors, bathrooms, and facing; manage back stock.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to aid sales.
