Job summary

Berger Chevrolet is seeking a full-time Parts Delivery Driver to join our award-winning team serving Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana. The role is based at the Southern Michigan warehouse, Monday through Friday, 7am until deliveries are completed, delivering GM parts with a focus on reliability and customer service.

You will represent Berger Chevrolet on the road, support the warehouse team, and ensure parts reach customers on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside in Michigan with valid Michigan chauffeur’s license; CDL acceptable.
• Must pass DOT medical certification.
• Pre-employment screenings including background checks and driving record evaluations required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver GM parts to wholesale customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Organize and prepare delivery routes and efficiently stage/loading parts.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Handle and process parts returns as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our parts operations running smoothly by delivering GM parts to Berger Chevrolet customers throughout Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana, ensuring customers receive the parts they need when they need them. You’ll represent Berger Chevrolet on the road while providing reliable support to our customers and warehouse team. This position is based out of our Southern Michigan warehouse Monday – Friday (7am – until scheduled deliveries are completed).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Safely deliver GM parts to wholesale customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Organize and prepare delivery routes by arranging deliveries and efficiently staging/loading parts.
• Support team members by assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Handle and process parts returns as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior delivery driving experience preferred.
• Must reside in Michigan and maintain a valid Michigan chauffeur’s license as a condition of employment; a CDL is also acceptable. Candidates without a chauffeur’s license must obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass and maintain DOT medical certification.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, trustworthy, highly organized, and consistently efficient.
