Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver in Morton, Illinois, to deliver excellent customer service while moving parts between branches and customer sites. This role requires a dependable, safety‑minded professional who can thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will load deliveries, perform pre‑trip inspections, operate a delivery van, and collaborate with the Parts Counter team to manage credits and returns.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to troubleshoot traffic flow and road conditions.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard company assets and follow safety protocols.
• Pull daily delivery orders from inventory and load the truck.
• Perform manual material handling of parts for delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and fuel the vehicles.
• Drive a delivery van on an 8‑hour shift with multiple stops.
• Use a pallet jack or forklift to move parts at customer sites.
• Complete paperwork with a bill of lading and manage credits/returns with the Parts Counter.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to deliver positive customer experiences.

The Opportunity (Job Purpose):

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Safeguarding company assets, including vehicles and parts, and following all safety protocols.
• Pull daily delivery orders from inventory at the branch and load the delivery truck.
• Perform manual material handling of parts for delivery to/from branches and customer sites.
• Perform all pre-trip vehicle inspections and fuel vehicles.
• Drive delivery van or parts vehicle throughout an 8-hour shift, making several stops.
• Use a pallet jack or forklift to move parts to the requested location in the customer’s building.
• Complete paperwork with a bill of lading and assemble mail.
• Work with the Parts Counter persons to handle credits and returns.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

Physical and Mental Demands:

The employee is frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, crawl/lay on back; reach away from body or shoulder height; climb or balance; lift up to 75 pounds; push or pull; working in areas with fumes or airborne particles; vibration.
