Job summary

Carl Black Chevrolet GMC Buick in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will provide first-class customer service and work well in a team environment.

You will use our computer catalog system to identify parts for service technicians, retail and wholesale customers, assist with inventory, and ensure parts are correctly stocked and displayed for easy access. GM training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership parts experience strongly recommended.
• GM parts experience not required but recommended.
• Basic computer skills using email, Excel, and web browsing.
• Clean driving record and drug-free status required.

Responsibilities

• Use computer catalog system to determine parts needed by service technicians, retail, and wholesale customers.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure all parts are stocked and displayed for visibility.
• Maintain accountability for parts purchased from vendors and distributed to technicians and customers.
• Comply with company policies and standards; provide first-class customer service.
• Maintain required GM training.

Requirements:

• Proven SuccessfulDealership PartsExperience isStrongly Recommended.
• General Motors Parts Experience is not required but recommended.
• Basic computer skills using email, excel, and web browsing necessary.

Job duties:

• Utilize computer catalog system to determine parts needed by service technicians, retail, and wholesale customers.
• Assist with inventory management and verify that all parts are correctly stocked and displayed for optimal visibility and accessibility.
• Maintain accountabilitiesfor all parts purchased from vendors and distributed to technicians and/or customers.
• Comply with all company policies and adhere to company standards.
• Ensure every guest is provided with first-class customer service experience.
• Maintain required training by General Motors.
