A leading automotive group in Naperville is seeking a full-time Automotive Parts Counterperson who will play a crucial role in managing the sales of parts and accessories. TheAutomotive Parts Counterperson at Toyotaof Naperville will be responsible for managing and coordinating the sales of automotive parts and accessories to both retail and wholesale customers. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. The role is a full-time individual working 4 weekdays and Saturdays.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Automotive Parts Counterperson will receive a competitive salary of $40,000 -$51,400 and comprehensive union benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off. One week vacation after 1 year, two weeks after two years. This position also offers opportunities for growth and career advancement within our dealership!
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently fulfilling parts orders
• Communicate with service technicians to determine parts needed for vehicle repairs
• Check availability and prices of parts in inventory and through various suppliers
• Utilize electronic catalogues and resources to look up and locate parts
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are stocked and organized
• Process payments and returns for parts purchases
• Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their parts purchases
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to identify and promote parts and accessory sales opportunities
• Stay updated on new products, promotions, and policies in the automotive industry
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working in an automotive parts department
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in using electronic parts catalogs and inventory systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Knowledge Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move more than 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license
