Job summary

Central Automotive Group seeks a Parts Counter associate in Houston to order and sell vehicle parts and accessories, coordinate with service, and help customers identify the right parts.

The role requires reliable punctuality, basic reading of safety and maintenance instructions, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high school diploma preferred and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Answer phone calls and respond to questions and requests about parts.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed.
• Receive, unpack, log and store parts.
• Track inventory and input items into the company log to ensure accurate inventory counts.
• Assist customers in determining what parts they need.
• Process payments and returns when necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• Valid driver's license.

• Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.
