Del Amo Motorsports Group in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Salesperson to greet customers, advise on parts and accessories, and process invoices using Lightspeed. The role offers hourly pay with commission and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid time off.

Core duties include maintaining the sales floor, handling returns, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely order follow-up. Schedule is Tue-Sat with weekends off other days.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with phenomenal customer service and product knowledge.
• Perform Lightspeed functions: building invoices, cashier, location parts, search parts, and follow-up.
• Ensure ETA on pending orders and follow up with customers.
• Maintain department sales floor and remerchandise inventory to promote brand.
• Provide a seamless experience after time of sale for every customer.
• Count inventory on hand and report quantities daily.

Del Amo Motorsports Group is looking to hire a Parts Counter Salesperson at our Long Beach location.

This is a hourly full-time position plus commission with average pay ranges between $17.00-19.00/hour. Pay range scale can fluctuate based on one individual sales performance.

Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am-7pm; Sunday & Monday we’re gone riding.

Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday’s and Monday’s off with a minimum requirement of 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.

You are a great fit if you can:

• Greet and assist all customers inquiries with phenomenal customer service and product knowledge while providing additional add-on suggestions.
• Perform Lightspeed functions pertaining to: Building invoices, Cashier, Location Parts, Search parts and utilize as a follow-up tool.
• Ensure estimated time of arrival on all pending orders and ensure consistent follow up with all customers.
• Maintain brand of department salesfloor and specified assigned section. (clean, price label, remerchandise overstock inventory to sales floor to promote overall brand).
• Provide a seamless experience and transition from after time of sale for every customer.
• Count all pertinent inventory on hand and report accurate quantities to management daily.

Other requirements and Skills:

• Ensure up to date with product knowledge by completing provided O.E.M. and product training.
• Review and complete daily checklist.
• Assist with returns, exchanges and assist where needed in department.
• Prepare station with all necessary parts catalogues and manuals for overall call efficiency.
• Process warranty claims on product.
• Assist parts counter with S.O. pickups.

Physical Demands:

• Position predominantly entails walking or standing for hours at a time.
• Other physical demands pertain to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or kneeling at times.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Vision required: close, distant, color, depth perception and ability to refocus vision.
