Hyundai of Winchester in Winchester, VA is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Associate to join our parts department. You’ll assist technicians and customers in locating the right parts, process parts requests, and help maintain accurate inventory.

This full-time role involves handling inventory, shipping/receiving, and supporting both retail and wholesale parts sales while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive dealership parts experience preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive parts, inventory processes and catalog systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Team-oriented attitude and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians by locating and supplying the correct parts quickly and accurately.
• Process parts requests through the shop counter.
• Support retail and wholesale parts sales.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Research and source parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems.

Parts Counter Associate

Join Our Growing Parts Team

Hyundai of Winchester is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our Parts Department. This role is ideal for someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys helping technicians and customers find the right parts while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting daily department operations.

As a Parts Counter Associate, you will primarily support our shop counter while assisting with inventory management, shipping and receiving, wholesale accounts, and retail parts sales.

What You’ll Do

• Assist technicians by locating and supplying the correct parts quickly and accurately
• Process parts requests through the shop counter
• Support retail and wholesale parts sales
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Rotating shifts
• Some Saturday availability required

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive dealership parts experience preferred
• Knowledge of automotive parts, inventory processes, and catalog systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to customer service
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials as needed
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
