Position

Job title: Parts Coordinator

Base pay

Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional customer experience by proactively managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order.
Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner according to the production schedule and vehicle needs.
Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
Work with vendors to order and receive all parts indicated on repair orders, confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
Enter all parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).
Label and track all parts by the RO# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs; communicate Parts Price Changes (PPI) to required team members.
Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS and monitor performance of parts, materials and sublet vendors; reconcile daily vendor invoice history reports.
Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned promptly and that vendor invoices reflect negotiated discounts to maintain profit margins.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus)
Customer service orientation with strong organizational ability; able to manage pressure and prioritize tasks; proactive problem solving
I-CAR Registered (working toward Gold Class certification)

Compensation Details

Compensation: $15 - $20 / Hour

Supplemental Pay: Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
