Job summary

SkyWest Airlines seeks a Parts Clerk to maintain inventory and support maintenance teams. This full-time position starts at $19.96 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license and a High School Diploma or GED.

You will perform warehouse duties, issue and track parts, operate a forklift, and assist with shipments while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Pass a background check.
• Lift 75 pounds routinely; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parts inventory to support mechanics.
• Warehouse/stockroom cycle counts.
• Issue, return, and process parts/tooling from stock using internal system.
• Drive company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips.
• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments/receipts.
• Data entry including emails and inventory counts; create requisitions.
• Operate a forklift to load/unload shipments.
• Sweep, mop, and organize warehouse/stockrooms.
• Team player who works well with others; detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Primary Job Duties

As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.

• Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory cycle counts
• Utilize internal computer program to issue, return, and process parts/tooling from stock
• Drive company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips
• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments/receipts
• Data entry, including but not limited to emails, inventory counts, and creating requisitions
• Operating a forklift to load and unload shipments
• Sweep, mop, and maintain the organization of the warehouse/stockrooms
• Knowledge of airline parts preferred but not required
• Team player - work well with others
• Self-motivated - work without supervision

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years old or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
