Job summary

Hirschbach in Memphis seeks a parts inventory coordinator to maintain stock accuracy, plan and issue purchase orders, and ensure parts availability for repairs. You will track inventory counts, manage aging stock, and keep the parts room organized while supporting efficient repair operations.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with potential quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Excellerator, Imperial, and Fleetrock preferred.
• Knowledge of parts ordering and inventory management, preferably within a heavy-duty truck or trailer maintenance environment.
• Light-duty parts experience will also be considered.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of all stock.
• Prepare purchase orders as required.
• Ensure all parts are available for repairs in process.
• Plan and order all parts for scheduled service requests.
• Review and perform physical count of all inventory reports.
• Weekly catalog of warranty parts (return/scrap log included).
• Manage stale parts inventory.
• Track core charges on parts and credits.
• Maintain a neat parts room at all times.
• Recommend ways to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and provide optimal levels of customer service.
• Provide updates to internal customers regarding equipment's ability to be dispatched.
• Accurately complete repair orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
