Automotive Parts Sales/Parts Advisor/ Parts Counterperson

Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble is looking for a team-oriented, flexible, and focused Parts Counter Sales Person to join our parts team! We value our employees and offer loyalty, a great working environment, and ongoing training. You must be eager to learn and be a team player who can greet and interact with customers to understand their parts and service needs with a warm and friendly persona. We strive to ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level. We offer competitive pay, 401K, medical benefits, and paid training.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Field incoming calls and online requests for parts quotations in a manner that positively impacts sales.
  • Manage parts client relationships with a commitment to a high level of service.
  • Assist mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies.
  • Locate available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
  • Refer to parts manuals to identify the correct part for the vehicle being serviced.
  • Post parts received to invoices and repair orders.
  • Provide estimates for parts needed for repairs.

Employment Requirements:

  • Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train qualified applicants as a parts counter person.
  • The ability to adapt to varying tasks according to changing volume and business needs.
  • On your feet and/or seated for long periods.
  • Capable of lifting parts safely.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
