Spend A Day Marina in Russells Point, OH is seeking a Parts & Accessories Specialist to help customers select the correct marine parts, explain features and pricing, and provide an exceptional shopping experience.

  • Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency, sales and profitability of the parts department.
  • Stay informed about products, industry trends, and innovations in marine parts and accessories.
  • Support store in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events, including accessory sales as appropriate.

POSITION SUMMARY

Parts and accessories specialists are responsible for ensuring customers have access to the correct parts and accessories for their boating needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their volume and profit goals through assisting customers in their buying decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties (Most Important to Least Important)

Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their boats, ensuring they are informed about product features, compatibility and pricing. Provide an exceptional experience for all customers.

Finalize transactions by properly closing each sale with accurate paperwork, including using suggestive selling of accessories that benefit the customer.

Maintain inventory of parts and accessories to ensure accuracy, control shrinkage, and obsolescence. Manage product reordering to ensure customer needs are met.

Maintain neat and orderly displays, with accessories and supplies well merchandised to present a professional appearance to help increase sales.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
