Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB Group) invites a current graduate student to join its 2027 Winter Internship Program in Washington, D.C. as an Intern Consultant. The paid internship runs January 16 to March 15, 2027, for full‑time work (40 hours/week) at the HQ.

You will assist the Partnerships Solution team in Resource Mobilization, conduct climate and other priority research, and help prepare country profiles and briefs to support IDB’s development work.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in Political Science with graduation after internship period.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency and strong research/data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Partnerships Solution team within Resource Mobilization with identifying and developing strategic alliances and partnership opportunities.
• Conduct research on climate change and other priority areas; collect/analyze data on partnerships in IDB member countries.
• Prepare country profiles and intelligence briefs.
