Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Partner Relations Associate to join our growing New England team and help deliver utility energy efficiency programs in Connecticut. This role blends relationship-driven outreach with program coordination and partner management to support successful program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in energy efficiency programs, account management, customer success, outreach, or related fields.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated to drive results with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (heavy on Excel), Salesforce, and online application systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for distributors, contractors, utility partners, and internal teams, building strong relationships that support program participation and success.
  • Advance projects through proactive communication, coordination, and follow-up to help distributors navigate from submission to payment.
  • Support program partners in delivering presentations, trainings, and hosting in-person events to promote program offerings and participation.
  • Develop and distribute marketing content and communications related to program structure and updates.
  • Assist with application support, project tracking, documentation, and issue resolution to keep projects on schedule.
  • Monitor project and program activity, maintain project tracking and databases, and support reporting on participation, performance, and milestones.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program management, marketing, outreach, rebate processing, and software teams to support program goals and continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to changing program needs, market conditions, and client priorities while maintaining high customer service and partner satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In this highly collaborative role, you will serve as a key connector between utility clients, distributors, internal delivery teams, and program partners. You will focus on building trust-based relationships, supporting supply chain partners, advancing projects through clear communication and follow-through, and helping manage program activities from outreach through project closeout.

This position is ideal for someone who excels at people-facing work, enjoys moving projects forward through strong communication and organization, and is comfortable balancing relationship management with operational and program support. Success in this role is measured by performance results, partner satisfaction, program participation, and effective collaboration across teams.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience

  • Experience with utility energy efficiency programs, demand-side management, lighting, building systems, or construction-related fields.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, community organizations, or utility clients.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $65,000- $87,000.In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
