Job summary

EAB is seeking a Partner Development Executive, Associate Director to drive growth of its Student Re-Enrollment service. You will lead consultative sales with colleges and universities, guiding partners from initial engagement to signed programs, and you’ll collaborate with internal teams to align goals with EAB’s advisory-led model.

You will work with enrollment and student success leaders to improve re-enrollment outcomes, navigate barriers, and coordinate cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas in sales roles.
  • Ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in at least three: marketing or higher ed marketing; sales; enrollment/admissions; delivering partner presentations; partner management.

The Role in Brief:
Partner Development Executive, Associate Director - Student Re-Enrollment

EAB’s Student Re-Enrollment service supports institutions in reconnecting with previously enrolled students and guiding them from initial engagement through successful re-enrollment. The service combines proactive outreach, structured re-enrollment planning, sustained follow-up, barrier navigation, and institutional coordination, supported by EAB’s Navigate360 CRM, outreach automation, and AI-enabled engagement tools. This Partner Development Executive will have the opportunity to help bring a high-visibility enrollment recovery and student re-engagement service to more institutions.

As a Partner Development Executive, you will own the growth of EAB’s Student Re-Enrollment service by identifying institutional needs and guiding prospective partners through a consultative sales process. You will help enrollment and student success leaders understand how EAB’s advisor-led model provides structured, student-centered guidance and coordinated support without making academic, financial aid, or institutional decisions on a partner’s behalf. You will work closely internal teams to connect partner goals with a service designed to improve student engagement, completion of re-enrollment milestones, barrier navigation, institutional coordination, data quality, and re-enrollment outcomes.

We hire persuasive leaders with a knack for teaching and explaining concepts—people who are comfortable listening to our partners and then mapping their problems to our services and solutions. As our ambassadors and connectors, Partner Development Executives are pivotal to the growth of our firm.

Partner Development Executives may be based in Washington, D.C.; Richmond, VA; or remotely within the continental United States.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sales motion for EAB’s Student Re-Enrollment service across an assigned portfolio of institutions
  • Identify opportunities to help institutions strengthen enrollment recovery and re-engage previously enrolled students through EAB’s advisor-led service and Navigate360-enabled outreach
  • Build relationships with enrollment and student success leaders to understand institutional re-enrollment goals, student barriers, outreach strategies, workflows, and escalation needs
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and consultative sales conversations
  • Share customer feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategy
  • Meet annual revenue goals through management of a sales pipeline with pursuits in various stages of the evaluation process
  • Work with other sales, marketing and delivery team members to drive increased revenue via business development within an assigned portfolio of institutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors
  • Indirectly manage Sales Associate to goals, providing formal feedback and guidance on professional development
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proven track record of success exceeding personal revenue quotas or sales targets in business development roles
  • Ability to negotiate and excellent persuasion skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must possess experience in at least three of the following:
    • Marketing agencies or higher education marketing
    • Sales, inclusive of new business development
    • Higher education enrollment or admissions
    • Delivering partner presentations and facilitating discussions
    • Partner or prospect management
Ideal Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant full-time professional experience
  • Experience selling digital, traditional, creative, branding and/or research services, preferably in the higher education sector
  • Experience working within a college or university enrollment, admissions, advising, or student success function, or a strong understanding of student re-engagement and re-enrollment; technology fluency and adaptability, including the ability to quickly learn and effectively use CRM, student information, communication, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools
  • Desire to achieve success in a sales environment and sell prospects on the current and future value proposition of a product or service
  • Engaging and memorable presentation style; demonstrated ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with an executive-level audience
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, diagnose a problem, and map a solution in the moment
  • Creativity and initiative when it comes to problem solving and/or project ownership
  • Resilience and comfort with ambiguity; ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Ability to indirectly manage a Sales Associate to goal, coach and provide constructive formal and informal feedback
  • Receptive to feedback, coaching and constructive criticism; ability to learn from mistakes
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities, strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Effective writing, critical thinking and negotiation skills, and familiarity with formal and informal RFP procedures

Compensation:

The compensation package for this role includes a starting salary (base) range of $56,000 - $81,500 per year plus eligibility for uncapped variable compensation. The anticipated total earnings are $106,000 - $131,500 at target levels of performance against commercial goals in a full and typical fiscal year, with lucrative uncapped earning potential to reward overperformance. Actual salary and on-target earnings vary due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting range for their role.
