Henderson Group, a national labor and employment law platform, seeks entrepreneurial Partners and Practice Groups to join its Labor & Employment/Data Privacy practice on a hybrid basis across multiple markets.

Ideal candidates carry an established portable book of business, leadership experience, and a record of advising employers on employment and data privacy matters, with capacity to expand into new markets and collaborate across offices.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Significant experience in a sophisticated law firm environment.
• Established portable book of business and demonstrated client development/retention.
• Management-side Labor & Employment experience including Employment Litigation, Traditional Labor, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, Wage & Hour, Counseling and Compliance.
• First-chair litigation experience is highly valued for employment matters.
• Data Privacy & Compliance experience.
• Strong client relationships and ability to integrate clients onto a new platform.

• Lead complex litigation, investigations, traditional labor matters, and workplace compliance initiatives.
• Manage and strengthen existing client relationships while driving new business development opportunities.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Mentor and develop associates and junior attorneys as appropriate.
• Participate in strategic growth initiatives within targeted markets and practice areas.
• Contribute to a culture focused on responsiveness, excellence, collaboration, and client service.

The firm is particularly interested in attorneys and groups with established client relationships in Labor & Employment, Traditional Labor, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, Wage & Hour, and Data Privacy & Compliance. Attorneys benefit from flexibility in managing client relationships and billing practices while leveraging a respected national brand and extensive firm resources

Candidate Profile

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Significant experience practicing within a sophisticated law firm environment.

• An established portable book of business and a demonstrated record of client development and retention.
• Management-side Labor & Employment experience, including one or more of the following areas:

• Data Privacy & Compliance experience

• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping expand and strengthen existing practices.

Portable Business Guidelines

• Individual Partners: Generally $700,000+ in portable business.
• Data Privacy & Compliance Partners: Approximately $500,000+ in portable business.
• Practice Groups: Generally $1.5 million+ in portable business.
• New Office Opportunities: Typically $1 million+ in portable business required to support market expansion initiatives.

Strategic Growth Markets

The firm has a particular interest in candidates located in or interested in helping expand its presence in:

• Las Vegas, Nevada
• Reno, Nevada
• Seattle, Washington
• Houston, Texas

Strong candidates in other existing firm markets will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
