This hybrid role targets attorneys with established client relationships and a portable book of business to join a leading, growth-oriented firm.

Ideal candidates bring management-side labor & employment and privacy experience, a robust client network, and a track record of expanding services across offices and markets.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Significant experience practicing in a sophisticated law firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a successful legal practice using a national platform.
• Provide strategic counsel to employers on labor, employment, and workplace matters and data privacy compliance.
• Lead complex litigation, investigations, traditional labor matters, and workplace compliance initiatives.
• Manage and strengthen client relationships while driving new business development.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Mentor and develop associates and junior attorneys as appropriate.

The firm is particularly interested in attorneys and groups with established client relationships in Labor & Employment, Traditional Labor, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, Wage & Hour, and Data Privacy & Compliance. Attorneys benefit from flexibility in managing client relationships and billing practices while leveraging a respected national brand and extensive firm resources

Candidate Profile

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Significant experience practicing within a sophisticated law firm environment.

• An established portable book of business and a demonstrated record of client development and retention.
• Management-side Labor & Employment experience, including one or more of the following areas:
  • Employment Litigation
  • Traditional Labor
  • Labor Relations
  • Workplace Investigations
  • Wage & Hour
  • Counseling and Compliance
• First-chair litigation experience is highly valued for employment litigation candidates.
• Data Privacy & Compliance experience
• Strong client relationships and the ability to successfully transition and integrate clients onto a new platform.
• Excellent business judgment, leadership skills, and commitment to client service.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping expand and strengthen existing practices.

Portable Business Guidelines

• Individual Partners: Generally $700,000+ in portable business.
• Data Privacy & Compliance Partners: Approximately $500,000+ in portable business.
• Practice Groups: Generally $1.5 million+ in portable business.
• New Office Opportunities: Typically $1 million+ in portable business required to support market expansion initiatives.

Strategic Growth Markets

The firm has a particular interest in candidates located in or interested in helping expand its presence in:

• Las Vegas, Nevada
• Reno, Nevada
• Seattle, Washington
• Houston, Texas

Strong candidates in other existing firm markets will also be considered.
