Job summary

ActivStars Midwest is seeking a part-time youth tumbling coach for a single weekly Wednesday session at St. Charles Community College. The role involves teaching levels 1-3, guiding students through basic tumbling, and ensuring safe spotting.

Experience with children is ideal; training and paid events occur periodically. The position emphasizes fun, teamwork, and personal development, with candidates expected to be enthusiastic, responsible, and able to travel to the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in tumbling or coaching children is preferred.
• Enthusiastic, positive and a role-model for kids ages 4–15.
• Reliable transportation and 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practice sessions, including warm-ups and basic tumbling progression.
• Oversee practice check-ins and maintain basic attendance/records.
• Teach basic tumbling skills and ensure safe spotting of athletes.
• Assist in weekend events and paid activities as scheduled.
