Soccer Shots - Central East Bay is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to work with kids ages 2-8 in Oakland. You’ll lead engaging sessions, set up fields, and help children develop basic soccer skills.

No experience required for training, with paid training and a clear path to higher pay and advancement. You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule, 15–25 hours weekly, with weekend availability, and join a fun, supportive coaching team.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine passion for children and sports.
• Safety conscious and attentive to well‑being.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Bring 'Soccer Island' alive with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Conduct sessions for ages 2–8, including field setup and takedown.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement.
• Use Soccer Shots curriculum and early-childhood teaching techniques.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment and communicate with families.
