Penn State University’s Extension is seeking applicants for a part-time Youth Forestry & Natural Resources Intern in McKean County. You will assist with interactive environmental education games and activities for K-6 students and help with event setup, delivery, and cleanup.

Job Description And Position Requirements

Penn State Extension is seeking applicants for part-time job of Youth Forestry & Natural Resources Intern.

  • Support program set-up, implementation, and clean-up at educational events and programs.
  • Participate in occasional meetings with the program leader/educator to interpret scientific literature and help develop, test, and refine educational games and activities.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $15.00/hour.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
