The role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, and collaborating with clinical staff to provide a safe and structured environment that promotes coping skills and overall well-being.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED required; relevant coursework ok.
• 0–3 years in behavioral health or related field; trauma-informed setting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to document observations and incidents.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with good record.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respectful, individualized care aligned with treatment plans.
• Review client histories and implement interventions.
• Serve as positive role model; promote healthy behaviors.
• Maintain trauma-informed, safe environment.
• Support group activities and skill-building with PBIS.
• Assist with crisis de-escalation using approved techniques.
• Complete documentation and communications timely.
• Collaborate with treatment team to support progress.
• Assist with daily activities: meals, transport, recreation.
• Administer medications and basic first aid with nursing support.
• Ensure facility safety and report maintenance concerns.
• Attend trainings and comply with policies.
