Reports to the Youth Program Manager; work includes evenings and Saturdays as per the schedule. Prior experience with children and customer service is preferred, and the position is on-site in Des Moines, IA.

Aufgaben

• Welcoming ambassador for the Art Center, fostering a welcoming environment for students, families, and staff.
• Greets students and guardians, takes attendance, and enforces pick-up/drop-off policies.
• Assists teaching artists by distributing materials, encouraging students, and clarifying directions.
• Works closely with teaching artists to ensure classes run smoothly.
• Sets up and breaks down studio tables, chairs, and supplies.
• Encourages cleanup and reports supply needs to the Department Manager.
• Assists with collecting, mounting, and labeling student artwork for display.
• Supports Art Center events as needed.
