Job summary

ImageCare Radiology is seeking a Part-Time X-Ray Technologist for its Jefferson office in New Jersey. The role includes performing routine X-ray procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Orientation is required at Mount Olive before reporting to the Jefferson site, with schedule Monday 12:00pm–9:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 6+ months of related experience or training, and ARRT certification. BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and on-the-job education in radiology or related area.
• 6+ months related experience and/or training in medical imaging.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• BLS Certification is preferred.
• HIPAA training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process routine x-rays.
• Assist other x-ray technicians and nurses as needed.
• Verify patient with exam order and study before scanning.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and supplies.
• Document patient care and coordinate with radiologist and referring physicians.
• Ensure correct exam routing and PACS verification.
