Job summary

Young Life is seeking a Part-Time Mission Staff to help develop and grow WyldLife in the Seattle area. The role focuses on building ministry at public middle schools, fostering relationships with students, parents, and volunteer leaders, and growing a vibrant community around Jesus.

The ideal candidate loves Jesus, middle school students, and developing people, with a relational, self-motivated, teachable mindset and a heart for serving the community.

Qualifications

• Proven relational skills with kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to Young Life mission and policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop WyldLife presence in North Seattle middle schools and partner with area director, volunteers and parents.
• Recruit and train volunteers; build a leadership team reflective of the community.
• Support fundraising and donor communications for ministry initiatives.
• Plan and lead Young Life clubs, Campaigners, and camping initiatives with a focus on relational ministry.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to Young Life policies and procedures.
