Job summary

Advantage Surgical and Wound Care seeks a Part-Time Wound Care Specialist (2-3 days/week) to provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings across Riverside, CA. The role includes rounds at multiple facilities and collaboration with facility staff to implement effective care plans. MD/DO active license required; board certification preferred (Family Practice or Internal Medicine).

General Practitioners welcome. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Active state medical license (MD/DO).
• Board Certification preferred (Family Practice or Internal Medicine).
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wound care bedside assessments in post-acute care settings.
• Round daily at multiple facilities within the designated territory.
• Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate dressings.
• Educate nursing staff and coordinate with PCPs, families, and clinical teams.
