Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates (Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks) in New Castle, PA. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, processing sales, stocking shelves, and handling wholesale orders in a fast-paced retail environment.

Positions are permanent part-time with 26–32 hours weekly, non-telework, and competitive pay. Benefits include ACA Bronze Plan medical coverage from day one.

Qualifications

• Necessary Special Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must meet PA residency requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find what they need.
• Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
• Safely lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers legally permitted.
