Job summary

The Sewickley Valley YMCA is seeking a part-time Wellness Coach who will guide members through safe exercise techniques, motivate healthy habits, and foster a supportive environment at the facility.

Shifts are evenings and/or weekends. The role requires CPR/AED certification within six weeks of starting and adherence to YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The salary is $14 per hour, with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Working knowledge of strength training and fitness.
• CPR and AED certification required within six weeks of employment start date.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide members in safe exercise techniques and wellness practices.
• Build connections to motivate and support members' wellness journeys.
• Ensure a positive, inclusive, and safe environment in the facility.
