Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking compassionate Wellness Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living activities and deliver high-quality care.

You will work part-time, 8am-noon, and collaborate with nurses and care teams to ensure safety and comfort while building meaningful relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• First Aid Certification.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing.
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance as needed per resident.
• Move carts, laundry hampers and equipment safely through areas.
• Communicate and coordinate resident needs with the team.
• Work under the supervision of the nurse in charge.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed.
