Job summary

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Security Supervisor to manage security staff in the Boston area (Boston/Cambridge, MA). The role requires weekend shifts, strong communication, and proven security experience.

Responsibilities include supervising officers, patrolling premises, coordinating with local agencies, and maintaining detailed incident reports. Applicants must meet experience and background requirements and are subject to drug screening and history verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years security experience.
• Pass a 5-year RMV driving record check with no more than two violations.
• Provide 5 years of previous work history and explain gaps.
• Provide 10 years of housing history.
• Complete additional drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of Security Officers, ensuring they stay on task, in full uniform, and provide excellent customer service.
• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments as necessary.
• Operate mobile unit to monitor exterior premises and conduct foot patrols.
• Write detailed daily reports and maintain required forms for patrol activities.
• Respond to incidents and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Maintain patrol vehicle and perform routine maintenance.
• Assume other duties as required by Client or Northeast Security, Inc.

Northeast Security is looking for Weekend Security Supervisor s for the Boston and Cambridge, MA Areas!

Pay Rate: $23.00- 26.05

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 2:30pm-10:30pm, 4:00pm-12:00am, 11:00pm-7:00am

This is a Shift Supervisor Position:

• Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years Security experience.
• Applicants MUST be able to pass a 5-year RMV driving record check with no more than two (2) violations

• Applicants must also be able to provide 10 years of housing history.
• Applicants are also required to complete additional drug screening.

Security Supervisor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise a staff of Security Officer's, ensuring Officer's stay on task, are in full uniform, and provide excellent customer service.
• Patrolling and monitoring multiple premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
• Operation of mobile unit to monitor the exterior premises.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
• Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.
• Maintain Proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties.
• Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.
• Maintain proper maintenance of the patrol vehicle to include routine or corrective maintenance, Vacuuming, car wash.
• Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior)
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
• Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc

Security Supervisor Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Previous Customer Service experience, or related field/education.
• Neat and professional appearance
• Dependable means of transportation
• Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background, and drug screenings.
