Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a high-traffic retail property in Peabody, MA. The role requires strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Shifts are Friday through Sunday, with afternoon/evening hours; weekend availability is required. Pay rate is $18.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and staff.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies.
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
