Job summary

Valley Vista Nursing and Transitional Care in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Restorative Nursing Assistant for weekend shifts. The role supports skilled nursing and long-term care, with a focus on restorative programs to improve residents' quality of life.

We welcome new grads with Certified Restorative training and a valid CNA license, CPR certification, and a customer-service mindset. Benefits include multiple insurance plans, tuition assistance, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use equipment correctly and safely in patient/resident care.
• Follow infection control techniques in patient/resident care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Prioritize patient activities based on care needs.
• Maintain documentation per Federal/State regulations and policy.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently and wear safety gear as required.
• Participate in restorative meetings to review progress.
• May perform CNA duties or assist CNAs as directed.

• Observe and reports signs and symptoms of changes in condition.
• Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
• Maintain all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wear safety equipment as required for the job; report any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.
• May participate in restorative meetings to review resident progress.
• May perform CNA job duties or assist CNAs as directed by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Certified Restorative training course.
• A valid CNA license and CPR certifications.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing environment desirable.
• Caring team player and customer service focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized through daily duties.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
