Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin is seeking hardworking, motivated individuals for a part-time security officer role. The position offers weekend hours, including Saturday night and Sunday shift, with pay starting at $17.00 per hour and increasing to $17.50 after six months.

You will guard posts, check in/out visitors, log data, respond to alarms, and maintain PPE and adherence to site orders. Requires HS diploma or GED, ability to pass background check and drug screen, and WI security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must obtain WI Security License.
• HS Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard at security officer post and check in/out visitors and deliveries.
• Log visitor and trucking data and other basic reports.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed by post orders.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain PPE according to position requirements and policies.
• Follow client site-specific duties as outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours to fill open shifts as needed.
• Adhere to ethical business conduct and company policies.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, vendors, and staff.

Schedule

Saturday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AMSunday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Must be able to work the above schedule on a consistent basis.

In this role, you will:

• Stand guard at security officer post, directing and checking in/out visitors, truckers with deliveries, issuing access badges, and other duties as necessary.
• Log visitor and trucking data and other basic reports in the security computer system.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
• Look for and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined for the position and follow all PPE policies and procedures.
• Follow all client site-specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours when necessary – fill open shifts, as needed.
• Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function.
• Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.
