Educational Alliance is seeking a certified Water Safety Instructor at the 14th Street Y in New York City. You will teach swimming classes and ensure the safety of clients in the pool.

This role offers $30/hour for group lessons and $40/hour for individual lessons. The ideal candidate will possess a Water Safety Instructor certification, along with strong customer service skills. Flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent certificate to teach swimming is required.
• Excellent customer service skills handling matters in courteous and friendly manner.
• Ability to work early morning, evening and weekend schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Learn to swim group and individual classes as scheduled.
• Be responsible for safety of students.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all members and clients.

Skills

Education

Water Safety Instructor certification
