Job summary

Gorilla Supply Inc. in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a reliable warehouse associate for a part-time role with potential move to full-time based on performance. You will unload containers, receive and organize inventory, and prepare orders for ground shipping in a fast-paced environment near O'Hare.

Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred; forklift certification is a plus and can be provided. This in-person position offers paid leave and benefits after conversion, with the schedule

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (devanning, shipping/receiving, palletizing).
• Comfortable using a pallet jack and tape gun.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for a shift.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming containers by hand and with equipment.
• Receive, sort, and organize inventory in designated locations; keep the warehouse clean.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for ground shipping; label and print shipping labels.
• Build, stack, stretch-wrap, and secure pallets for outbound freight.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move and store product.
• Assist with inventory counts and report damaged or missing items.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Opportunity to Grow

This position starts as part-time, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role with full company benefits based on performance, reliability, and business needs.

What You'll Do

• Devan (unload) incoming containers by hand and with equipment, checking products against packing lists
• Receive, sort, and organize inventory in designated locations; keep the warehouse clean and orderly
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for ground shipping (UPS/USPS/Amazon Shipping/LTL), including taping, labeling, and printing shipping labels
• Build, stack, stretch-wrap, and secure pallets for outbound freight
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move and store product
• Assist with inventory counts and report damaged or missing items
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (devanning, shipping/receiving, palletizing)
• Forklift experience required; certification is a plus (we can certify the right candidate)
• Comfortable using a pallet jack and tape gun
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand, bend, and walk for an entire shift
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail when counting, labeling, and organizing product
• Basic English communication skills
