Job summary

PDI (Perishable Distributors of Iowa, LTD.) in United States is seeking a Warehouse Selector – Level I to accurately select, verify, and palletize customer orders for transport in a refrigerated warehouse. You will follow safety rules, operate stand-up rider pallet jacks and VAU headset, and work to meet daily productivity and quality standards.

The role requires being 18+, high school or equivalent preferred, and the ability to read and speak English.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent preferred.
Must be 18 years of age to operate warehouse equipment.
Ability to read and speak English.
After initial training period must meet 90% of engineered productivity and 100% quality.

Responsibilities

Reports to work on time.
Observes attendance guidelines and company policies.
Observes sanitation and reports spillage or distressed product to a supervisor.
Performs general housekeeping duties as required.
Operates powered industrial equipment, following safety rules and regulations.
Maintains expected levels of productivity and quality per Standards Program.
Selects product for shipment using stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU.
Validates selection by speaking check digit into headset matching description and quantity.
Builds pallets accurately and efficiently to maintain product integrity and transport stability.
Stretch wraps product on pallet and stages product on loading dock.
