The Ledger in Lakeland, FL is hiring a part-time Warehouse Worker/Mailroom Inserter to support packaging and mail distribution. This entry-level role requires safety awareness and the ability to lift 10–50 pounds, stand for long periods, and adapt to changing assignments.

You will feed preprints into inserter equipment, monitor lines, stack bundles for shipping, and help keep production areas clean and organized. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Safety awareness is a must.
• Above-average problem-solving skills to monitor and repair equipment.
• Physical dexterity required to lift/move material.
• Must stand for long periods and lift 10–50 pounds or more.
• Able to adapt to changing work assignments on short notice.
• Work around production equipment and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Feed preprints into the insert machine hopper neatly and accurately.
• Monitor the insert machine to minimize double inserts and skips.
• Remove completed bundles and stack for shipping.
• Run and monitor press lines to ensure production continuity.
• Apply product keys to products and bundles as required.
• Organize and stage products for shipping.
• Label pieces for mail distribution.
• General clean-up of papers, skids, and debris.
