Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to support inventory, receiving, picking, packing and local deliveries. You will work at our 7720 Pinemont Dr location, with a schedule up to 28 hours per week and 7:00am - 5:00pm shifts.

The role emphasizes organizing stock, maintaining a safe workspace, and collaborating with teammates to keep the branch running smoothly. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license with driving eligibility.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Customer service oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs in some cases) and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory.
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory.
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
